Position Title: Fleet Telematics Specialist

Reports to: Safety Director

Job Role: Fleet Telematics Specialist

• Assign Samsara coaching and perform/assist in-person coaching for safety events
• Monitor hours of service (HOS) and ELD exemptions
• Monitor driver scores, identify and address areas of improvement
• Monitor and troubleshoot functionality of telematics systems and equipment, coordinate with vendors as necessary
• Locate, extract, and review footage from Samsara to monitor driving behaviors
• Assist in incident investigations by analyzing footage from Samsara
• Compile and distribute reports on driver behavior, safety trends, and other telematics data
• Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings
• Additional responsibilities assigned by Safety Director – Lampton Love, Inc.

• Effective communications and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to travel to branch locations with overnight travel possible
• Experience in transportation industry, with commercial driving experience preferred
• Ability to collaborate with employees at corporate and front-line levels
• 5 years experience in propane or logistics industries
• Proficiency in Samsara Fleet software preferred
