Logistics & Materials Coordinator – Onsite US‑Citizen only. Responsible for facilitating international & domestic shipments of nacelle components, coordinating with cross‑functional teams, managing export/import compliance, and ensuring on‑time delivery.
Responsibilities- Plan, prepare and process export, import, and trans‑border activities by country.
- Conduct day‑to‑day trade activities ensuring compliance: shipping documentation, export license determination, HS classification, valuation, Incoterms.
- Maintain relationships with internal departments and external partners to implement trade compliance processes and FTZ requirements.
- Follow SOPs, work instructions and safety guidelines; support finance with billing and accounts receivable.
- Develop and document procedures to improve team efficiencies and productivities.
- Perform administrative support for shipping/receiving departments.
- File export transactions with CBP via ACE/AES; ensure proper paperwork with Customs.
- Plan, schedule and manage efficient movement of finished goods; complete required paperwork.
- Execute SAP transactions for parts inventory; record shipped/received items.
- Organize materials for quality inspections prior to shipment.
- Utilize various carrier types (FTL, LTL, OTR, Air, Ocean, Small Pack) to ship to customers.
- Direct, analyze and support all U.S. import/export compliance operations; undertake ad‑hoc projects.
- University degree and minimum 2 years of experience in international trade compliance, or advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience in global freight forwarding and customs brokerage operations.
- Working knowledge of customs regimes: tariff schedules, valuations, controlled products, country of origin rules, free trade programs, VAT rules, and U.S. law on banned/boycotted countries.
- Experience in inventory processes: parts flow, FIFO, JIT, Kanban, etc.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with ERP and CRM systems.
- SAP system/transaction experience and GTS export filings.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing (Six Sigma, APICS CPIM/CLTD).
- Strong understanding of company ethics, integrity and social responsibility policies.
- Excellent organization, team and communication skills; ability to work independently and take initiative.
Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD (and commensurate with experience).
