Blade Construction LLC is hiring a driven and experienced Civil Construction Foreman to lead field crews on civil and heavy construction projects throughout Baldwin and Mobile Counties. This hands‑on role involves coordinating daily activities, mentoring crew members, ensuring jobsite safety, and working closely with leadership to keep projects running on time and within spec. • Lead and supervise crews on a variety of civil and heavy construction jobs, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction specs to assign tasks and track progress.
• Conduct daily safety briefings, jobsite inspections, and submit progress updates.
• Identify the need for RFIs, change orders, or schedule delays and communicate promptly with management.
• Train, mentor, and support laborers to build their skills and maintain high performance standards.
• Collaborate with mechanics and supervisors to coordinate equipment maintenance and material deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, efficient, and organized worksite at all times.
• Operate machinery when needed and perform hands‑on work to support project success.

• 3+ years of experience in civil or heavy construction, preferably in a leadership or foreman role.
• Experience with structural concrete, BMPs for erosion control, grading, carpentry (decks), and stormwater systems.
• Ability to read plans, manage tasks, and lead teams with clear direction and a positive attitude.
• Skilled in road/bridge layout and construction techniques.
• Self‑motivated, quick learner who enjoys mentoring others and solving problems on the job.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must qualify for a TWIC card (company pays for initial card if hired).
• Equipment operation certifications are a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
