This position exists to serve our members at the Foley Branch in Foley, Alabama. This is a frontline position. A Member Experience Representative engages members by onboarding them with Alabama Credit Union by opening new accounts and providing a relationship-building experience; assist members with loan requests along with assisting them with their financial transactions, involving giving and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments while providing opportunities for members to utilize additional products and services offered by Alabama Credit Union.
Responsibilities- Open accounts and help members with basic financial transactions (such as deposits and withdrawals, posting credit card payments and balance transfers, receiving debit card and check orders).
- Provide information about products and services to members to meet their financial needs.
- Engage with members in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities while ensuring attention to detail.
- Minimum qualifications:
high school diploma or equivalent; customer service skills; cash handling; good computer skills (including the ability to use Microsoft Office products and web-based applications); ability to follow lengthy procedures for account opening; ability to describe and sell products and services to members; ability to change focus efficiently in a fast-paced environment; and a desire to help others in your community. - Other preferred qualifications: one to three years of similar or related experience. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Sit, stand, walk, see, hear, reach, and use gross and fine motor coordination for activities such as using standard office machines, handling paper (counting cash, sorting and filling paper items, scanning), and occasionally lifting and carrying incidental items like supplies.
