• Apply knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing techniques to the design and substantiation of repairs and/or fabrication of repair parts for aircraft components.
• Communicate frequently with internal and external customers, mechanics, and leaders to drive status updates, progress, changes, etc.
• Resolve design problems of difficult, sometimes complex scope independently that have significant impact to business.
• Provide proactive technical support to production groups to meet or exceed external and internal customer requirements.
• Develop digital designs for metallic and composite component parts and assemblies for application in aircraft/aerospace products using modeling tools for design.
• Develop processes to accomplish the various procedures in the repair and restoration of components.
• Support Quality Assurance personnel and mechanics to facilitate compliance with policy, procedures, and regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with a cross‑functional team and coordinate with external customers.
• Create and improve standard work and utilize lean principles to continuously improve engineering and manufacturing processes.

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience.

• Experience in AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo, Solid Works, or any other 3D modeling software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, bill of materials, technical documents, etc.
• Substantial knowledge of aircraft materials and fabrication/shop processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage in high‑volume communication with internal and external customers.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and think strategically.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment where decisions need to be made quickly.

Salary Range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
