Associate Finance Director – Alabama Service Center (ASC) – Foley, AL
Position type:
Onsite. This role is located at the Foley, AL Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility within the Aerostructures SBU at Collins Aerospace. Relocation assistance is available.
- Provide full financial support for all site operations and partner with the Aftermarket finance team to drive strategic initiatives and business recommendations.
- Participate in key strategic decisions on long‑term strategy, investment rationalization, financial planning, operational support and new business pursuits as a member of the ASC leadership team.
- Develop ASC finance team through succession planning, ensuring growth of breadth and depth of knowledge.
- Provide technical guidance on contractual and accounting matters, critical performance metrics, and ad‑hoc business analysis.
- Maintain stable internal financial controls consistent with U.S. GAAP, Sarbanes‑Oxley, corporate policies, Raytheon Technologies Corporate (RTX) financial manuals and approval matrices.
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and meeting all annual control self‑assessment and testing targets.
- Support monthly close requirements and coordinate close deliverables in accordance with RTX close procedures.
- Develop and maintain systems and tools for effective business planning, including sales, margin, profit, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.
- Develop annual overhead and manpower plans and ensure alignment with committed financial targets.
- University degree and minimum 12 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 10 years of experience.
- Experience with manpower planning, LE forecasting, overhead analysis, and other operational metrics.
- Experience leading groups and/or teams.
- Experience as a business partner to a P&L owner or cost center owner.
- Experience with U.S. GAAP, SOX, and RTX requirements.
- Experience with SAP and One Stream Financial Management.
- Leadership of finance for a manufacturing facility, a large enterprise, or prior experience with RTX and/or Collins Aerospace.
