Position Summary
Mechanical Assembler I for the A320 Neo program. Responsible for assembling and testing critical components of the aircraft, ensuring precision and adherence to safety protocols.
Shift & LocationShift: Monday–Friday 6:30 A – 3 P.
Location:
US-AL-FOLEY-1300 ~ 1300 W Fern Ave (OEM BLDG).
- Assemble and test critical components for the A320 Neo program.
- Follow detailed instructions and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly of parts.
- Utilize mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and resolve any issues during assembly.
- Maintain high precision and attention to detail while working on complex components.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with machinery and tools.
- Collaborate with team members to guarantee timely completion of assemblies.
- Keep accurate records of assembly processes and any issues encountered.
- Continuously monitor and maintain the quality of assembled components.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding updates, issues, or concerns.
- Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adapt to changes in assembly processes and procedures as needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company.
- Strive for continuous improvement in assembly processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in mechanical assembly or a related field.
- Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings and instructions.
- Knowledge of basic hand and power tools, including torque wrenches and pneumatic tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced production environment.
