Jr Manufacturing Engineer
Our client, an industry leader in aerospace manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Jr Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Jr Manufacturing Engineer, you will be an integral part of the site support team, focusing on supporting ground and flight support manufacturing activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes, tools, and workflows to ensure efficient production.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing environment, focusing on safety, quality, and cost targets.
Design and arrange tooling and machinery layouts to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce build times.
Implement process upgrades utilizing robotics and automation technologies to improve productivity.
Use data analytics and SPC to monitor productivity, First Pass Yield, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), driving continuous improvements.
A university degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience with SAP and real-time problem resolution in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
Ability to read and interpret specifications and engineering drawings/models.
Knowledge of Lean principles, continuous improvement, and basic project management.
Familiarity with robotics, automation, Six Sigma/Red X, and data analysis tools.
