Our client, an industry leader in aerospace manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Jr Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Jr Manufacturing Engineer, you will be an integral part of the site support team, focusing on supporting ground and flight support manufacturing activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Jr Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Foley, Alabama

Pay Range: $35-$38/hr plus OT, benefits

What's the Job?

• Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes, tools, and workflows to ensure efficient production.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing environment, focusing on safety, quality, and cost targets.
• Design and arrange tooling and machinery layouts to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce build times.
• Implement process upgrades utilizing robotics and automation technologies to improve productivity.
• Use data analytics and SPC to monitor productivity, First Pass Yield, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), driving continuous improvements.

What's Needed?

• A university degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SAP and real-time problem resolution in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and engineering drawings/models.
• Knowledge of Lean principles, continuous improvement, and basic project management.
• Familiarity with robotics, automation, Six Sigma/Red X, and data analysis tools.
