1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30A-3P
What You Will Do- Manage material flow by performing kitting, inventory retrieval, and timely delivery of components to production areas
- Receive, verify, and store parts in controlled stockroom locations using automated vertical lift systems and ERP tools.
- Perform SAP goods‑movement transactions and issue parts to work orders
- Monitor production schedules, rates, and material needs
- Conduct cycle counts and clipboard counts; perform ERP research to resolve inventory discrepancies
- Maintain 5S standards and a FOD‑free material environment; conduct DIVEs and report findings to leadership
- Apply lean manufacturing tools to improve material flow and processes
- Collaborate with Production Control, Quality, and Engineering to ensure materials meet schedule and configuration requirements.
- Coordinate with Team Leader, Quality, Engineering, or Production Control to resolve part discrepancies or documentation issues.
- Provide backup coverage for other material handling functions during absences or peak production periods.
- Participate in team meetings, Tag‑ups and daily management/production walks as needed.
- Assist with inventory replenishment projects, including organizing overflow storage and rotating stock.
- Participate in and help influence Continuous Improvement events
- Support receiving activities by assisting with incoming material inspections and staging parts for put‑away.
- Maintain compliance with EHS guidelines by monitoring safe material movement and reporting hazards.
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Inventory management experience.
- ERP systems experience.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, CORE, and/or ACE Continuous Improvement methodologies
- SAP experience
- APICS CPIM training or certification
- Cycle counting experience
- Kitting experience
- Experience operating Vertical Lift Modules
