JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical‑Surgical unit to provide direct patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting any changes to the physician.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and comprehensively in the medical record.
- Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results.
- Assist physicians with procedures.
- Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Weeknights
- Active RN license in Alabama or a multistate license.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a Medical‑Surgical Registered Nurse.
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- 3+ years of recent Medical‑Surgical Registered Nurse experience.
- Proficient in providing direct patient care on a Medical‑Surgical unit.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate patient records.
