1st Shift: Monday – Friday 6:30 A.M. – 3 P.M.

What You Will Do- Ability to work varying shifts, or overtime as required
- You will need to pass a color/vision test
- Inspection of Electrical activity and electrical processes
- Perform detailed product inspections on in-process and finished goods, including but not limited to First Article Inspections.
- Document characteristics of products accurately and with technical detail.
- Initiate Quality Notifications for any non-conforming products.
- Apply quality assurance procedures and requirements to the inspection of hardware and to document reviews.
- Identify any potential quality issues early and help to prevent their occurrence.
- Communicate effectively to other Collins Aerospace personnel any quality issues needing resolution.
- Monitor and utilize calibrated measuring instruments.
- Safely perform other duties as assigned
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g., G.E.D.) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience performing manufacturing or product inspections using blueprints and specifications.
- Experience performing measurements with precision measurement tools, such as micrometers and calipers.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.
- The ability to utilize computer systems including input of data and retrieval of information for inspections and configuration purposes.
- The ability to review documents and to identify and resolve any errors or missing information.
- Ability to use operating software including SAP
- 2+ years in an Aerospace or similar inspection role
