We’re looking for music and pop culture enthusiasts to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, helping fans find their favorite merchandise. You’ll utilize your fandom knowledge to train new team members and support daily operations and sales goals.

What You'll Do

• Provide an engaging shopping experience to encourage customer loyalty, demonstrating product knowledge and customer service skills
• Assist in managing the sales floor and support leadership when needed
• Open and close the store as scheduled
• Process transactions at the register, promote sales, and communicate any issues to management
• Understand sales targets and key performance indicators such as UPT and ADT
• Assist with visual merchandising and store layout updates
• Share fashion and music trend insights with management and HQ
• Ensure store security and prevent theft in collaboration with management
• Maintain organized stockrooms and store cleanliness
• Support team development and collaboration
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Leader

What You'll Need

• At least 1 year of retail experience, with a passion for music and pop culture
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to navigate the store, handle merchandise, and lift up to 50 pounds
