Responsibilities

Greet customers and run the register (cashier duties)
Make purchase suggestions and sometimes work with the food program
Work around the store (inside and out) in many different areas to maintain high standards for store appearance
Provide fast and friendly service to customers
Maintain regular and predictable onsite attendance
Interact with many customers daily while working with a fun, energetic team to accomplish daily tasks

Qualifications

Excellent communication and friendly conversation skills
Ability to sell products to customers and perform at a quick pace while having fun
Strong teamwork skills to accomplish daily goals
Problem‑solving ability, thinking quickly and offering suggestions
Retail and customer service experience preferred
Sales associate or cashiering experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Motivation to advance in career and willingness to learn and have fun

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
Lift/carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes per shift
Occasionally lift/carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour per shift
Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands requiring eye‑hand coordination
May require climbing a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs
