Gas Station Team Member Part Time

Job Summary

Responsible for the daily operation of the gas station, performing opening and closing procedures, monitoring and maintaining gas station equipment, assisting members with gas station transactions and payments, and complying with safety, environmental and security standards.

• Provide exceptional member service and promptly assist members as needed.
• Ensure the safety of people, property and environment while assisting members with gas station transactions.
• Monitor gas station sales transactions and handle cash transactions when applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness standards of restrooms and perform custodial duties as needed.
• Monitor gas station reporting, ensure reports are generated, and perform gas station checklist procedures.
• Accurately perform all opening and closing procedures.
• Regularly monitor and maintain gas station equipment.
• Oversee the fuel delivery process and perform required preparation procedures.
• Understand safety and security features of the gas station and comply with safety, environmental and security standards.
• Inform management and help desk when any alarms are present.
• Perform cash drawer procedures including cash deposit, verification, documentation and control procedures.
• Perform competitive price surveys daily and ensure posted gas prices and club signage match the pricing in the POS system.
• Understand and properly follow all spill bucket and spilled material procedures and perform immediate response and clean up procedures at the gas station.
• Log all visitors and obtain proper e allowing anyone inside the kiosk area.
• Notify corporate office of any non‑routine maintenance vendor visits.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable full attendance.

• Previous gas station operating experience preferred.
• Experience operating a cash register preferred.
• Must be able to complete all required training.
• At least 18 years of age.

Exposure to both indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. May require occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Could require long periods of sitting/standing and some bending. Occasional exposure to flammable liquids and strong smells.

Starting at $16.00 per hour. Actual salaries will vary depending on location, education, experience, and qualifications.
