Position OverviewBOW Blue Water Marine Service seeks certified Service Technicians with demonstrated knowledge and hands‑on experience. Ideal candidates will possess proven proficiency, formal training, and documented expertise in various areas of marine troubleshooting and repair.
Skills & Qualifications- Experience with marine air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Expertise in marine electronics, including troubleshooting of networks, autopilots, radar, and sonar systems
- Proficient in marine electrical systems: A/C and D/C systems, inverters, chargers, digital switching, and more
- Skilled in outboard rigging, repair, and maintenance, with certifications from Yamaha, Mercury, Honda, or Suzuki preferred
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electronic steering systems
- Certified in marine generators, including Fisher Panda, Kohler, Westerbeke, Onan, or Phasor
- Familiarity with marine sanitation, freshwater systems, and all related plumbing
- Light fiberglass repair experience is a plus
- Must supply your own hand tools; specialty tools will be provided
- Certified outboard mechanic
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods in a fast‑paced service dept
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
- Must have your own basic hand tools
- Must have proven knowledge or work experience in the marine field
