Inventory Analyst

• Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by division and department
• Collaborate with Merchandising to develop and communicate strategies that align financial and product opportunities
• Create preseason sales, gross margin, and inventory plans that support product strategies
• Reconcile top-down and bottom-up division/department plans
• Recap and analyze actual sales results to plan and forecast in-season sales and inventories

• Must have strong technical skills, particularly in Excel, and be systems savvy
• Proven ability to build constructive relationships with a diverse group of business partners
• Strong business acumen and strategic agility, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Exceptional listening, written, and oral communication skills
• Ability to present ideas effectively to motivate and engage others

• Experience in financial planning within the fashion retail industry
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and practices
• Background in data analysis and forecasting techniques
• Knowledge of merchandising strategies and product development processes
