The Construction Manager is responsible for enforcing the terms of the contract and managing the relationship with the client. Specific responsibilities include serving as the Owner’s Representative; facilitating and attending meetings with the Contractor, client agencies, and the public; establishing and maintaining project records; monitoring construction activities and schedules and maintaining records of completed work through daily reports; facilitating weekly project meetings with the Contractor, Agency, and other stakeholders;

coordinating and communicating effectively with the team and clients; reviewing and responding to Contractor’s RFIs, submittals, letters, NOPCs, and claims; and managing and forecasting project budgets.

Requirements

• BS in Construction Management, Civil, or Structural Engineering, or closely related field (preferred) plus six (6) years (CM) or ten (10) years (Sr. CM) of relevant construction experience, OR
• AS in Construction Management or closely related field plus eight (8) years (CM), twelve (12) years (Sr. CM) of relevant construction experience AND
• Certified as a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) OR
• Registered as a California Professional Engineer
• Possess a valid driver's license and clear DMV record
• Must have the ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
