Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential required. Our ideal candidate has a creative spirit, a strong sense of self and a willingness to work in collaboration with our community and servant-leader Principals to help our schools grow and thrive. As a Public Waldorf School we do not require a Waldorf Teaching Certificate but do want our candidates to have knowledge of and a respect for the Pedagogy.

We do ask that our teachers work towards obtaining the Waldorf Teaching Certificate and our Educational Foundation helps cover the cost for Teachers in the training program.

Golden Valley Charter Schools is a Charter Management Organization with two Public Waldorf Schools. We are seeking Elementary School Teachers for the  year. Located in Orangevale, CA east of Sacramento, our two schools are nestled in tree-lined neighborhoods just across the river from old town Folsom and the American River Bike Trail. Our teachers and staff enjoy the benefits of living and working within close proximity to Rudolf Steiner College in Fair Oaks where they participate in continued professional development.

Our solid basic skills curriculum is infused with the arts, music, movement and exploration of the natural world. We have a thriving garden, nature walks, seasonal festivals, abundant field trip opportunities and a healthy home/school partnership with our parents. We have a committed Parent Circle and Board of Trustees.
