Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential required. The ideal candidate is a warm, nurturing, and creative educator who is passionate about early childhood development and committed to fostering a joyful and engaging learning environment. They understand the importance of rhythm, play, and hands-on experiences in supporting young learners and are able to create a classroom where children feel safe, seen, and inspired.

As a Public Waldorf School we do not require a Waldorf Teaching Certificate but do want our candidates to have knowledge of and a respect for the Pedagogy. We do ask that our teachers work towards obtaining the Waldorf Teaching Certificate and our Educational Foundation helps cover the cost for Teachers in the training program.

Golden Valley Charter Schools is a Charter Management Organization with two Public Waldorf Schools. We are seeking Elementary School Teachers for the  year. Located in Orangevale, CA east of Sacramento, our two schools are nestled in tree-lined neighborhoods just across the river from old town Folsom and the American River Bike Trail. Our teachers and staff enjoy the benefits of living and working within close proximity to Rudolf Steiner College in Fair Oaks where they participate in continued professional development.

Our solid basic skills curriculum is infused with the arts, music, movement and exploration of the natural world.
