Special Education Teacher

Role Overview

Seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a school district in Maryville, CA for the ongoing school year. The teacher will develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support students with diverse learning needs.

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and abilities.
• Provide differentiated instruction and support to students with diverse learning styles and abilities, including those with learning disabilities, developmental delays, or behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with parents, fellow teachers, and support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Utilize specialized teaching techniques, assistive technologies, and adaptive materials to accommodate students' learning requirements and facilitate their progress toward educational goals.

• Active CA Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Knowledge of IEP development and California compliance standards.

• Competitive salary ranging from $45,000 to $65,000.
