Elementary School Teacher

Folsom Educational Academy, an Islamic school in Folsom, California, is seeking a full-time elementary school teacher to begin August 1, 2026.

This position focuses on fostering the academic, social, and emotional growth of elementary students through evidence-based teaching practices aligned with school standards and values. You will create a classroom environment that is nurturing, inclusive, and productive.

• Develop and deliver detailed lesson plans with consistency and adaptability
• Employ diverse instructional methods to meet varied learning needs
• Maintain effective classroom management practices supporting a positive learning atmosphere
• Conduct regular student assessments and maintain thorough academic records
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and instructional planning
• Communicate proactive with parents and guardians regarding student progress
• Supervise assigned extracurricular activities as needed
• Participate faculty meetings, professional development, and training sessions
• Represent the school professionally within the community

• Salary: $45,000–$60,000 annually
