Senior Water​/Wastewater Project Manager

Brand New Water/Wastewater PM Opening With Leader In Environmental Services, Municipal Engineering and Public Works

Salary: $120,000 - $220,000 per year

This position is a Project Manager for water/wastewater and stormwater infrastructure projects covering design, construction administration, and client liaison roles.

• Lead and direct design/technical development of infrastructure projects within water/wastewater and stormwater areas from planning through construction completion.
• Deliver projects to meet established budgets and schedules.
• Prepare construction documents, plans, and specifications.
• Prepare project cost estimates and schedules.
• Provide overall supervision and technical direction to a team of design engineers and technical staff.
• Coordinate multi‑disciplined engineering teams.
• Support or lead preparation and development of proposals and strategic client pursuits.
• Serve as a primary client‑facing leader, strengthen relationships, understand client objectives, and identify opportunities.
• Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, permitting agencies, and contractors.
• Actively participate in relevant professional organizations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field with focus in water resources, environmental, or hydraulic engineering.
• PE Registration in California, or ability to obtain CA registration within 1 yr.
• 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater, stormwater planning, design and construction administration as lead design engineer or project manager.
• Strong team leadership experience or proven potential, including managing project delivery expectations, task prioritization, and mentoring.
• Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D.
• Experience with levee design efforts – evaluation, analysis, and preparation of engineering design documents is preferred.
• Stormwater system design projects, including drainage infrastructure and comprehensive stormwater master planning are preferred.
