As a Design Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will design and analyze digital and analog circuits used in the development of memory products. You will collaborate with design and verification teams worldwide and support groups such as Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly and Marketing to proactively design products that optimize all manufacturing functions and assure best cost, quality, reliability, time‑to‑market, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of new product opportunities by assisting with the overall design, layout, and optimization of Memory/Logic/Analog circuits.
- Conduct parasitic modeling and assist in design validation, reticle experiments, and required tape‑out revisions.
- Oversee and manage the layout process, including floor‑planning, placement, and routing.
- Perform verification processes with modeling and simulation using industry‑standard simulators.
- Contribute to cross‑group communication to work toward standardization and group success.
- Work with Marketing, Probe, Assembly, Test, Process Integration, and Product Engineering groups to ensure accurate manufacturability of the product.
- Proactively solicit guidance from Standards, CAD, modeling, and verification groups to improve design quality.
- Drive innovation into future memory generations within a dynamic work environment.
- Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Analog or mixed‑signal coursework.
- Exposure to modeling and simulation of ICs using SPICE and Verilog.
- Previous internship experience.
- PhD completion within 6 months.
- Proficiency with UNIX and the CADENCE design environment (Simulation, Schematic entry, SPF extraction).
The U.S. base salary range for this full‑time position is $86,000.00 – $ a year, with additional compensation potential in benefits, bonuses, and equity.
