ResponsibilitiesDesign and analyze digital and analog circuits used in the development of memory products, including technology development, advanced memory designs, product development, systems design and validation to create world‑class memory solutions. Collaborate with design and verification teams worldwide, supporting Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly and Marketing groups to optimize manufacturing functions and ensure cost, quality, reliability, time‑to‑market, and customer satisfaction.
Assist in the overall design, layout and optimization of Memory/Logic/Analog circuits, parasitic modeling, and design validation, reticle experiments and tape‑out revisions. Oversee layout processes such as floor‑planning, placement and routing. Perform verification using simulation with industry standard simulators. Contribute to cross‑group communication and standardization efforts. Work with Marketing, Probe, Assembly, Test, Process Integration, and Product Engineering teams to ensure accurate manufacturability and drive innovation into future memory generations.
Perform semiconductor design engineering assignments, including chip layout circuits, circuit checking, documenting specifications, modifying and evaluating semiconductor devices and components. Review product requirements and logic diagrams for device definition.
- Semiconductor device physics including diodes, MOSFETs and their operation
- Custom logic design including fundamental logic circuits, state machines and flip‑flops
- Programming scripts in Python and C++
- Schematic entry and layout checks using Cadence Virtuoso
- Analog design including op‑amps, regulators and oscillators
- Experience with memory devices
- Circuit simulation using HSPICE and ADE
Education:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
