Primary Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of strategies/initiatives for municipal water/wastewater clients.
- Be client facing as this role will be a key conduit between the client and HDR design teams.
- Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
- Actively participate in industry associations, ideally in a role to support such organizations (e.g., California Water Environment Association).
- Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of small to large multidisciplinary projects with a high degree of technical complexity. Larger projects typically exceed $5 million and involve a large project staff.
- Supervise large project staffs and act as a mentor for less-experienced engineers and project managers.
- Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.
- Conduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with Project Managers, appropriate technical professionals and other disciplines.
- Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project development to complete documents on schedule.
- Work with the Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller or Company Controller and Department Manager or Managing Principal for project reviews.
- Implement QA/QC procedures.
- Execute training for personnel as established by strategic plans.
- Maintain professional engineering registration.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Master's Degree
- PMP Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 10 years related experience
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., Professional Engineer (PE) or P.Eng)
- MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience would be a plus)
- Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills

Compensation range: $142,758 - $231,750, depending on skills, experience, education, and geographical location (for full-time regular positions).
