Electrical Designer - Sacramento, CA

Position Summary

Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is adding an Entry Level Designer to our Electrical team in Sacramento, CA. • Support the design of electrical power, lighting, and control systems for building projects.
• Prepare system layouts, floor plans, and related electrical design documentation.
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and equipment selection.
• Assist with electrical code research for project-specific issues.
• Support construction administration tasks, including responses to RFIs and equipment submittals.
• Interface with code officials and contractors as needed.
• Collaborate with architects and other design consultants.
• Work closely with project teams to support assigned efforts from concept through construction.

• 0-4 years of experience as an MEP Engineer in infrastructure and/or building systems.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• Experience in REVIT.

• Knowledge of OHSPD/HCAI.
• LEED AP BD+C accreditation or WELL certification, highlighting your dedication to sustainability.

This position offers a hybrid work environment, with a requirement of two in‑office days per week in our Sacramento, CA office. All candidates must be located in and eligible to work in the U.S.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 (depending on experience). The base salary range represents the low and high end of the compensation scale for this role. Actual salaries will be determined based on location, experience, responsibilities, and qualifications. This salary range is just one component of Glumac’s total compensation package, which includes benefits, professional development opportunities, and additional incentives.
