As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be a technical leader in the design, development, and testing of electrical/electronic systems for highly complex aerospace and defense applications. The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.

• Lead and execute the design and development of electrical/electronic systems.
• In some applications, lead and execute the development of circuit card assemblies.
• Lead and provide technical guidance for implementation of electrical wiring design practices.
• Conduct and oversee comprehensive testing and validation of electronic systems and components.
• Perform expert-level troubleshooting and debugging of electronic circuits.
• Develop, document, and review high-level technical designs, test plans, and results.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
• Lead design reviews and provide strategic technical insights.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, promoting technical growth.
• Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement of engineering processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering or a related role.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Expert proficiency in electrical/electronic design and validation techniques.
• Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools.
• Progressive experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
• Experience in digital or analog circuit design and schematic capture.
• Understanding of the printed circuit board layout process and tools.
• Experience with circuit modeling, simulation, and analysis.
• Knowledge of industry-standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing, and production processes.

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for electrical applications.
• Experience composing and evaluating an Electrical Load Analysis (ELA).
• Familiarity with Electromagnetic Effects (EME) to include Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI).

• Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
• Precision in designing, testing and troubleshooting electrical/electronic systems and components.
• Ability to analyze complex electrical/electronic systems and evaluate performance data to identify problems and improve designs.
• Applying systematic and logical problem-solving techniques to diagnose and resolve electrical/electronic issues.
