Performs economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation and investments; analyzes profit‑and‑loss income statements and prepares reports and recommendations to management; generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance and other areas; develops financial models of "what if" scenarios for future business planning decisions; assists with cash management and forecasting; uses Excel and Power BI. The position is on a 9/80 schedule (9‑hour days Monday‑Thursday, alternating Fridays off, opposite Fridays 8‑hour days).
Impactof the Role
Provides high‑level financial analysis and model building that informs strategic decisions. Works independently with minimal supervision, may lead projects or sub‑projects, and serves as a resource for less experienced colleagues.
Essential Functions- Conduct quantitative analyses affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects.
- Collect and analyze financial information for assigned accounts, product lines, or business units to track progress against goals.
- Report current or expected financial performance and create models to guide decision making.
- Analyze cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to recommend actions or modifications to financial procedures, plans, and controls.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements.
- Education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5–7 years’ experience OR equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
- Education and experience: Bachelor's Degree.
- Discipline/Major: Accounting, Finance or Business preferred.
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication, analytical thinking, statistical knowledge, detail‑oriented, ability to meet deadlines.
- Remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Work primarily in a climate‑controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
No or very little travel likely.
