Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Banker in Folsom, CA for a direct hire opportunity within the banking and consumer lending industry. Depending on experience, this role may align with a Client Service Representative II, Client Service Representative III, or Senior Client Service Representative level.
This in-office banking role is ideal for a client-focused professional with teller experience, new accounts knowledge, and a strong commitment to exceptional service. The position offers the opportunity to work in a stable branch environment with supportive leadership, positive teamwork, ongoing client interaction, and room to grow within the banking field.
The Banker will support consumer and business clients, open and maintain accounts, recommend appropriate banking products and services, and help strengthen long-term client relationships while ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Open, maintain, and close consumer accounts, business accounts, CDs, IRAs, and related banking products based on experience level.
- Interview and profile clients to understand financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
- Process teller transactions as needed while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and a strong balancing record.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, identify referral opportunities, and support branch profitability goals.
- Ensure account documentation is accurate, approved, uploaded, and compliant with bank policies and applicable regulations.
- Provide professional, courteous service to clients in person and by phone while resolving inquiries with tact and care.

In-office. - Compensation Range: $20.00 to $31.90 per year, depending on experience and level.
- CRA volunteer hours:
Minimum of 10 hours per year, typically scheduled during business hours, with compensable time and mileage reimbursement.
- Open and support new consumer accounts, basic business accounts, and complex business accounts depending on assigned level.
- Process teller transactions, client inquiries, account maintenance, documentation, and branch support duties.
- Recommend banking products and services through client profiling, cross-selling, and referral generation.
- Support compliance with banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements, information security, and account documentation standards.
- 1 or more years of banking teller experience required for CSR II level.
- 2 or more years of banking teller experience required for CSR III level.
- 3 or more years of banking teller experience required for Senior CSR III level.
- Experience opening consumer accounts required.
- Experience opening basic business accounts required for CSR III level and preferred for CSR II level.
- Advanced experience opening consumer accounts and complex business accounts required for Senior CSR III level.
- Strong customer relations skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients and employees.
- Working knowledge of basic banking regulations such as BSA and information security.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking software programs.
- Ability to handle confidential information with excellent judgment and professionalism.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to perform accurately in a fast-paced branch environment.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred for Senior New Accounts/CSR III level.
- Experience supporting business clients with Treasury Services such as remote deposit capture, armored service, or courier service is helpful.
- Experience with Trust and Estate Accounts is helpful for advanced-level candidates.
- Ability to support supervisor overrides, large transaction approvals, and branch leadership duties in a backup capacity is preferred for senior-level candidates.
