Job Description:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. - Assemble electronic and electro‑mechanical components such as power supplies, modules, and cable harnesses
- Follow production drawings, schematics, and work instructions to complete assemblies
- Use hand tools and small power tools for component placement and wiring
- Inspect parts and perform basic tests to ensure quality standards
- Rework and repair defective units as needed
- Fit, align, calibrate and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements
- Use grinding machines, drill press and power drill as necessary during assembly
- Solder and desolder through‑hole and surface‑mount components using soldering iron and hot air techniques
- Work as a team member, reporting to a Leader on assembly status
- Communicate clearly and effectively
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry heavy objects, and work in various environmental conditions
- Ability to work OT as required to meet production goals
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to assemble sheet metal covers, motion components, cast structures, wiring harnesses
- Ability to run programming scripts for product integration testing
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Fundamental computer operation skills
- Preferred: certified forklift operator
Climate controlled manufacturing environment (assembly, machining, quality control facility). Exposure to possible hazards may include noise, electricity, and other automated and manual machinery.
Physical Demands- Frequent: standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, and pulling, repetitive foot, leg, hand, arm, shoulder, and torso movements
- Periodic: operating power equipment, and utilizing a computer
