Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Job Description:

• Assemble electronic and electro‑mechanical components such as power supplies, modules, and cable harnesses
• Follow production drawings, schematics, and work instructions to complete assemblies
• Use hand tools and small power tools for component placement and wiring
• Inspect parts and perform basic tests to ensure quality standards
• Rework and repair defective units as needed
• Fit, align, calibrate and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements
• Use grinding machines, drill press and power drill as necessary during assembly
• Solder and desolder through‑hole and surface‑mount components using soldering iron and hot air techniques
• Work as a team member, reporting to a Leader on assembly status
• Communicate clearly and effectively
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry heavy objects, and work in various environmental conditions
• Ability to work OT as required to meet production goals
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to assemble sheet metal covers, motion components, cast structures, wiring harnesses
• Ability to run programming scripts for product integration testing
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Fundamental computer operation skills
• Preferred: certified forklift operator

Climate controlled manufacturing environment (assembly, machining, quality control facility). Exposure to possible hazards may include noise, electricity, and other automated and manual machinery.

• Frequent: standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, and pulling, repetitive foot, leg, hand, arm, shoulder, and torso movements
• Periodic: operating power equipment, and utilizing a computer
