Gecko Hospitality is excited to present a new job opportunity for a Sous Chef with our client, a popular Restaurant and Brewery in Folsom, CA. Our client is seeking a skilled and creative individual to assist their Executive Chef in developing and executing seasonal menus.
This position offers a competitive base salary of up to $65K, along with bonuses and benefits. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef with menu planning and recipe development
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, ordering, inventory control, and maintaining quality service standards
- Train and mentor junior staff to uphold company standards and best practices
- Ensure adherence to all food safety regulations and restaurant policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to provide exceptional dining experiences for customers
