Software Development Engineer

Overview

Intel Foundry Automation - Government Programs seeks a Cloud Application Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and microservices with stringent customer controls. This role focuses on building scalable APIs, ensuring security best practices across cloud environments, and delivering high-quality software solutions.

• Design, develop, and test cloud-native applications and microservices.
• Build scalable APIs and backend services.
• Ensure security best practices across cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Create and execute manual and automated test plans and test suites.

• Minimum Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Math, or a STEM-related field.
  • 2+ years of direct experience building cloud solutions on Azure.
  • 1+ years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions.
  • Experience with Azure database services (Azure SQL Database, Azure Database for MySQL/PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB).
  • Experience in web services, microservices development, data architecture, or container technologies (Kubernetes, etc.).

• Active U.S. Government Security Clearance at Secret level or higher.
• Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Math, or other STEM field.
• Experience in web services development, API, REST, and C# (.NET Core), HTML

• Experience with HTML5, CSS 3.0, Type Script, and JavaScript libraries/frameworks (React).
• Experience securely storing and tightly controlling access to tokens, passwords, certificates, API keys, and other secrets (Key Vault, etc.).
• Modern API technologies such as GraphQL.
• Experience with Playwright or similar cloud automated testing frameworks.
