Paving Operator

Experienced Asphalt Paving Operator – seasonal, spring work schedules in Southern Wisconsin.

• Operate asphalt (black top) paving equipment, including pavers and rollers, safely and efficiently.
• Work with power construction equipment, reading and understanding grade stakes and automated machine control displays.
• Maneuver machinery in tight quarters, around people, traffic, and utilities.
• Clean, maintain, and secure all equipment.
• Follow proper safety and incident reporting procedures.
• Assist with equipment repairs as needed.

• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• CDL desired but not required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work varied hours, including nights, early mornings, and weekends.
• Capable of working in variable weather conditions and dirty, dusty environments.
• Member of the appropriate trade union or willing to become a union member.
