Marian University invites applications for Adjunct Faculty in Undergraduate Nursing, beginning January 2026. We are seeking passionate educators who are committed to excellence in teaching and student engagement. Successful candidates will join a collaborative team dedicated to preparing future nurses for compassionate, evidence-based, and ethical practice.
Teaching responsibilities include in-person instruction in undergraduate nursing courses at our Fond du Lac, Wisconsin campus. Courses are part of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, designed to develop students' critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and professional competencies for success in diverse healthcare environments.
Primary Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, evidence-based lectures and active learning experiences aligned with course and program outcomes.
* Facilitate in-person class and clinical sessions that promote professional growth and clinical judgment.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation, reflection, and collaboration.
* Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, clinical evaluation tools, and participation.
* Provide timely, constructive feedback and support to help students achieve course outcomes.
* Maintain regular communication and availability for student advising and mentorship.
* Collaborate with course coordinators and faculty teams to ensure program quality and consistency.
Minimum Qualifications
* Master's degree in Nursing or a related field required.
* Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
* Prior teaching experience in a clinical or academic setting preferred.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
* Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with simulation-based or hybrid/online instruction.
* Familiarity with CCNE accreditation standards and competency-based education.
* Current clinical experience in an acute or community health setting.
