Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented BIM Specialist to support the development, coordination, and management of 3D and 2D electrical system models for large‑scale construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring model accuracy, identifying system conflicts early, and enabling seamless project execution. You will work closely with designers, engineers, and project teams to deliver high‑quality BIM deliverables that support efficient construction planning.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain 3D and 2D BIM models of electrical systems across multiple construction projects.
  • Perform model population, system routing, and ensure all model elements adhere to project standards.
  • Conduct clash detection using Navisworks, collaborating with project teams to resolve conflicts before construction.
  • Extract and refine model views, drawings, and fabrication sheets for project execution and field coordination.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure model integrity and interdisciplinary alignment.
  • Support BIM‑related documentation, workflows, and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Skills
  • Strong understanding of electrical system design, including power, lighting, conduit routing, and equipment layout.
  • Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, including model building, navigation, and clash detection tools.
  • Solid knowledge of BIM processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and engineering specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain organized, accurate models under project deadlines.
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with BIM 360 or other cloud‑based collaboration platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with drafting and design principles, including drawing standards and model documentation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fond du Lac, WI.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
