Plumbing Designer

Work Setting

Primarily onsite / office-based with field surveys, site visits, and occasional construction inspections as needed

Tree Top Staffing is conducting a confidential search for a Plumbing Designer on behalf of a well-established multidisciplinary engineering and design organization in the Fond du Lac area.

The group is actively seeking candidates with plumbing design experience and may also consider strong candidates with a mechanical background.

• Produce complete plumbing design documents, including plans, isometrics, specifications, and details
• Apply sound engineering principles and code knowledge to develop practical, buildable design solutions
• Perform your own drafting using Revit as the primary design platform;
  AutoCAD experience is also acceptable
• Participate in client meetings as needed and support project coordination with internal teams
• Conduct out-of-office field surveys prior to design and construction inspections as required by project needs
• Review shop drawings and RFI requests
• Depending on the project, supervise one or more drafting technicians

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience, including relevant education
• Strong plumbing design experience and the ability to produce a full set of design documents
• Solid code knowledge and practical design judgment
• Experience with Revit preferred;
  AutoCAD experience is also acceptable
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through

• Candidates with a mechanical background may also be considered if they have relevant plumbing exposure
• Candidates with hands‑on plumbing experience may also be considered, including a plumber with an MPL doing in‑house design work
