MEP BIM​/VDC Specialist

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong BIM/VDC experience who wants to join a growing team, work on a diverse range of projects, and make an immediate impact. This role is especially well suited for candidates with experience in detailed electrical system modeling and coordination.

• Perform 3D modeling and 2D drafting for a growing BIM Services group
• Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers to create accurate BIM models and layout drawings
• Produce BIM models ranging from LOD 300 to LOD 400
• Model electrical systems, including conduits, cable trays, hangers, and clearance zones for electrical panels and light fixtures
• Draft and model using Autodesk Revit
• Read and interpret construction drawings accurately
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of work
• Identify project conflicts or issues that may impact deadlines or deliverables
• Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and clients

• Experience with BIM/VDC modeling in an MEP or electrical environment
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Experience modeling electrical systems in a coordinated environment
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work both independently and within a team setting
• Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills

• Experience working for an electrical contractor, MEP firm, or similar BIM/VDC environment
• Experience supporting install-level electrical modeling and coordination
• Experience with conduits, cable trays, hangers, and electrical clearances
• Data center, mission critical, or complex commercial/industrial project experience would be a plus
