Position Overview
As part of the talented Controls team, you will play a critical role in supporting and advancing manufacturing automation systems that drive operational excellence. This role focuses on troubleshooting and optimizing controls and automation processes, developing and maintaining reliable systems, and contributing to the continuous improvement of factory operations.
Essential Functions- Support manufacturing in troubleshooting automation and controls issues
- Develop, implement, and oversee predictive and preventive maintenance procedures
- Participate on internal teams to facilitate the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of factory automation
- Influence and support the design and implementation of factory automation equipment
- Document/write maintenance SOPs to perform repair and diagnostic functions
- Facilitate definition and execution of design verifications and manufacturing control plans
- Engineer controls and software solutions for manufacturing work cells
- Support TPM efforts
- Leverage analytics to make strategic and tactical business decisions
- Competent in programming PLCs & HMIs, specifically Allen Bradley, and ideally Siemens
- Familiarity with CNC controls, primarily Siemens and Fanuc
- Understanding of industrial network infrastructures, including Ethernet and Device Net
- Ability to read and understand controls prints; modify prints using AutoCAD
- Exposure to technologies such as RFID, vision systems, laser engravers, and robots
- Experience with SCADA programming, specifically Ignition, and exposure to SQL and Python
- Experience leading projects
- Willingness to learn and embrace new technologies
- Previous experience with CNC machining is a plus
- Ability to interact in a team environment with other employees and groups
- Post‑high school education required; bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the field or a related area

Pay Range: $61,500 – $75,400 annually. Bonus:
Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus of up to 10%.
