We are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to design and develop analog and digital hardware for embedded systems. This role involves taking products from concept through production, working on embedded electronics such as gauges, clusters, displays, sensors, controllers, and telematics modules. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on circuit design experience and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop analog and digital hardware for embedded systems from concept to production.
- Create electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and support board bring-up and validation.
- Design hardware using microprocessors and microcontrollers.
- Lead multiple hardware development projects and coordinate project activities.
- Support new product development and sustaining engineer ing initiatives.
- Identify replacement components and manage obsolescence issues.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for component sourcing and supply chain support.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineer s.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineer ing or related field with 5-7 years of experience, or Master's degree with 3-4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in analog and digital circuit design .
- Hands-on experience design ing hardware from the ground up.
- Expertise in schematic capture, PCB design , and board development.
- Experience with microprocessors, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
- Knowledge of mixed-signal, AC/DC, and DC/AC circuit design .
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience with ICs, FPGAs, and mixed-signal PCB design s.
- Background in automotive electronics, telematics, displays, clusters, or related embedded products.
- Exposure to firmware and embedded software integration.
- Experience with sustaining engineer ing and product lifecycle management.
- Strong project management and mentoring skills.
