About the Role:
The Process Designer plays a critical role in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes within food production facilities to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. This position involves designing workflows, selecting appropriate equipment, and integrating innovative technologies to enhance product quality and operational throughput. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including quality assurance, engineering, and supply chain to align process designs with business objectives and customer requirements.
This role ensures that food production processes are robust, scalable, and capable of meeting both current and future demands in a highly regulated environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software and tools such as Revit or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and document process workflows and standard operating procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of automation and control systems used in food production facilities.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and waste reduction strategies in food manufacturing.
- Experience in food manufacturing process design or a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop efficient food manufacturing processes that comply with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to integrate process improvements and new technologies into projects.
- Ensure all process designs meet regulatory requirements and relevant safety standards.
- Monitor ongoing process performance and recommend adjustments to maintain optimal operation and product consistency.
- Support troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis for process-related issues in production environments.
