AP Manager

Overview

Our client, a market-leading global manufacturer and recognized leader within its industry, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead a high-volume AP function and oversee a team of accounting professionals.

This is an opportunity to step into a visible leadership role where you'll have a direct impact on process improvement, automation initiatives, and the continued evolution of a critical finance function.

• Leading day-to-day accounts payable operations and developing a team of AP professionals
• Supporting accounting activities including reconciliations and journal entries
• Partnering closely with procurement, operations, and finance leaders across the organization
• Supporting sales and use tax compliance efforts
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency, scalability, and stronger controls

• Leadership experience managing AP or shared services teams
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and internal controls
• General accounting experience, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Experience with in a manufacturing or complex operational environment
• ERP experience;
  Oracle experience is a plus
• A track record of driving process improvements, automation, or system enhancements
