American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of outpatient orthopedic experience for a 13-week outpatient clinic assignment with Epic EMR experience required.

• Outpatient clinic setting within a larger health system campus, with referring physicians often located in the same building
• Patient diagnoses include total joint replacements, ACL repairs, rotator cuff repairs, OA, RA, sprains and strains, and other orthopedic conditions
• Emphasis on 1:1, evidence-based patient care with a strong therapeutic alliance
• Schedule options: 5x8-hour days (9:30–18:00) or 4x10-hour days (7:30–18:00)
• No weekend or on-call requirements; facility is closed on major holidays
• Epic EMR required
• Team of 23 therapists with a wide range of specialties, from sports medicine to post-cancer care
• Specialty skills available or utilized on the team include dry needling, orthotic fitting, vestibular therapy, running assessments, bike fittings, concussion rehabilitation, and blood flow restriction (BFR) therapy
• Business casual dress code
• Pre-start online modules required; allied modules are approximately 1 hour and completed before the first day
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility as a traveler must take a 6-month break before returning in a travel capacity; total traveler tenure cannot exceed 1 year
• Candidates must be able to shave for N95 fit testing prior to start, as CAPRs and PAPRs are not available or permitted
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience required
• Active state PT license required; pending licensure may be considered
• Epic EMR experience required
• Sports medicine experience preferred
• Proficiency in standard outpatient orthopedic assessment, documentation, and modalities
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must live more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
