Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking a patient-focused Physical Therapist with 2+ years of outpatient orthopedic experience for a 13-week outpatient PT assignment requiring Epic proficiency and a Wisconsin state license.

Job Details

• Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting,

• Patient diagnoses include total joint replacements, ACL repairs, rotator cuff repairs, OA, RA, sprains and strains, and other orthopedic conditions,

• Emphasis on 1:1, evidence-based patient care with a strong therapeutic alliance model,

• Available schedules: 5x8 days (9:30-18:00) or 4x10 days (7:30-18:00),

• No weekend or on-call requirements; closed on major holidays,

• Epic EMR experience required,

• Specialty skills in use at this facility include dry needling, orthotic fitting, vestibular therapy, running assessments, bike fittings, concussion rehabilitation, and blood flow restriction (BFR) therapy,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient orthopedic PT experience required,

• Sports medicine experience preferred,

• Wisconsin PT state license required; pending licensure may be considered,

• Epic EMR proficiency required,

• BLS certification required if applicable,

• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration,

• Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted,

• Team of 23 therapists working closely with referring physicians, many located within the same building,

• Practice environment spans a wide range of specialties from sports medicine to post-cancer rehabilitation,

• Business casual dress code,

• Travelers who have previously worked at this facility as a traveler for 1 year must take a 6-month break before returning in a travel capacity,

• Pre-start online modules required; allied health modules are approximately 1 hour and completed prior to start,

• Candidates must be clean-shaven for mask fit testing; CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided or permitted,
