Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced RN to fill a unique family medical clinic position in Fond du Lac, WI, with possible additional hours in Beaver Dam and Mayville. Some flexibility around hours and locations, depending on availability.

Looking for the right fit to join our fantastic & cooperative nursing team. Typical hours M-F from 8:00 – 4:30; 0.6 FTE with no nights or weekends required.

Our small offices provide high quality, personal& caringmedical services to individuals and familiesfrom newborns to retirement. Nursesare akey member of the team as theyservea critical role inthe patient experience –creating the first and last impressions for our patients. Working1 on 1 with our physician and nurse practitioner, theyassistwith all aspects ofpatientinteractionsincludinginitialenrollment,office visits,virtual visits,labs,follow-upand care management.
  
  Our low volume clinicsaverage just 8-12appointments/day andofferaunique opportunity to develop meaningfulrelationshipswith our patients. Byoperatingona membership model rather than traditional insurance, we focus our time on caring forourpatients rather than jumping through insurancehurdles.
• Clinical Patient Care
  : communicating messages and refill requests to providers, obtainingclinical histories, rooming patients, taking vital signs, drawingbloodworkand performing in-office labs, administering medications and immunizations andassistingwith office procedures.
• Office Administration
  : answering the phone, documentingmessages, enrolling and scheduling patients, faxing records, and arrangingfollow-up appointments.
• Additional Duties
  : maintainingasafeand cleanoffice andexam rooms, inventory management, general office duties.

• Current licensure or certification as appropriate for degree (RN)
• 2+ years clinical experience preferred
• Able to pass standard background check and drug screening
• Professionalism with excellent patient interactions displaying competence, kindness and compassion
• Effective written and oral communication skills along with knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with multiple priorities
• Ability to work well independently and collaboratively & professionally within a team
• Ability to prioritize work in an efficient manner
• Ability to recognize and respond to urgent needsin a timely manner;
  Experienced and comfortable providing primary care telephone triage
• Flexibility to adjust schedule/hours/locations as required by patient needs
• Physical requirements:
  
  ability to lift up to 50# occasionally, with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 25#; ability to use a mouse and keyboard; ability to safely administer injections
