WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Assist with the talent acquisition process, which may include scheduling and interviewing
- Ensure all steps of the pre-employment process are successfully completed prior to new hire orientation
- Assist with new hire orientation
- Prepare and organize new hire documents, benefit enrollments, 401(k) information and additional resources as needed
- Maintain and organize personnel records, prepare mailings, and assist with other administrative functions
- Perform employee service functions by responding promptly and professionally to employee requests
- Manage the company anniversary program, apparel program and employee recognition program
- Promote and support Badger Liquor’s wellness and inclusion initiatives
- Support the writing, revising and reviewing of work instructions, process/procedure documents
- Assist with the coordination of company events such as open enrollment, training events, holiday gift, etc.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with employees, management and external sources (customers, vendors, etc.)
- Welcome and assist visitors in a friendly and professional matter
- Additional duties as assigned by management
- Highest level of confidentiality and integrity
- Strong decision making, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills
- Compliance with federal and state regulation concerning employment
- Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and mental concentration to accurately perform tasks and navigate common interruptions
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalism
- Effective at working cross functionally
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills and an interest in continuous improvements through technology
- A minimum of a High School Diploma is required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field desirable
- 2-3 years’ experience in Human Resources preferred
