Position Overview :
As part of the talented Operations Analytics team, you will help transform data into actionable insights that drive operational excellence across Brunswick. In this role, you will support the development of Power BI dashboards, analyze business and operational performance metrics, and assist with data-driven decision making. Working closely with business stakeholders and analytics professionals, you will gain hands-on experience in data visualization, reporting automation, process improvement, and business intelligence initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.

Essential Functions :
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and other analytical toolsets that provide visibility into key operational and business performance metrics.
- Gather, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to support reporting, forecasting, and decision-making initiatives.
- Partner with operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate requirements into analytics solutions.
- Assist in identifying trends, process improvement opportunities, and operational insights through data analysis and visualization.
- Support data governance, reporting automation, and documentation efforts to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Present findings and recommendations to team members and business partners through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and contribute to the advancement of Brunswick's analytics capabilities.

Required Qualifications:
- Student currently pursuing a Bachelor's Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Statistics, or a related field.
- Basic experience with data analysis, reporting, or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
- Basic experience with R, Python and/or Microsoft ETL Toolset (Synapse, Data Factory, Fabric)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SQL for querying and analyzing data.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Minimum second semester sophomore status with 48 completed credits
- Availability to work full-time (40 or more hours per week) through a full co-op term running January to August 2027
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience creating dashboards, reports, data visualizations using Microsoft Power BI /Ignition
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts, DAX, Power Query, and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Business Intelligence Suite/ETL Toolset
- Exposure to manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or business process analytics.
- Experience with programming or analytics tools such as Python, R, Power Automate, or Power Platform technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently on data-driven projects.
- Previous internship, co-op, academic project, or leadership experience involving data analysis or business intelligence.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate offered will vary depending on multiple factors including year in school/credits earned, degree, job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.
