Project Manager – Continuous Improvement

Under the direction of the Continuous Improvement Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for managing organizational projects and initiatives, prioritizing, managing, and implementing small, medium, and large-scale process improvement initiatives, supporting analysis of current practices, developing process improvements, and implementing changes in workflows to ensure continuous organizational performance.

Responsibilities
  • Manage cross-functional teams in continuous improvement efforts and initiatives.
  • Support greater efficiency of operations through identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and systems.
  • Establish project scope, including benchmarks that identify current and ideal state to target progress and achievement.
  • Utilize an innovative mindset with analytical background to interpret business needs and translate them into action.
  • Demonstrate problem‑solving ability, including identifying root causes, providing creative and effective solutions, asking the right questions, and framing logical conclusions.
  • Ensure business impact and/or project objectives are identified and managed.
  • Coach employees in problem‑solving methods and encourage learning and development.
  • Demonstrate servant leadership by taking initiative to lead, implement and execute change objectives that support strategic goals while maintaining team effectiveness, quality, and morale during organizational change.
  • Effectively facilitate, convey, and listen to information and others’ thoughts and facts with high emotional intelligence, fostering an environment for psychological safety and constructive dialogue.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to build a continuous improvement environment and support ongoing promotion of change with the goal of achieving performance excellence.
  • Actively monitor and evaluate project risks to foresee potential barriers and proactively identify solutions.
  • Exhibit commitment to goals and consistently deliver results for the organization.
  • Drive the implementation of the CI strategy and culture aligning with strategic and business goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field, or equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience facilitating and implementing continuous improvement principles and models, process optimization, or project management.
  • Project Management or Continuous Improvement methodology certification preferred.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Previous supervisory experience desired.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize tasks required.
  • A thorough understanding of the latest process enhancement strategies.
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record and proof of adequate insurance required.
  • Experience in applying Baldrige Performance Excellence framework helpful.
