Support Tech II

Position Overview:

As a Support Tech II, you will join a dynamic team supporting Mercury Marine values of integrity, customer centricity, product and service leadership, sustainability, and employee engagement by producing high quality inboard and outboard marine engines.

• Operate forklifts to deliver large parts to manufacturing operations (machining, coating, assembly, shipping, receiving, and warehouse).
• Operate powered delivery carts and tow behind wagons to deliver small parts to assembly lines and replenish using a Kanban system.
• Perform shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations, moving parts to and from off-site warehouses to support daily manufacturing functions.
• Support quality and productivity activities as needed while maintaining a clean, organized work area using 5S+1 principles and following plant safety rules.

• Ability to drive material delivery equipment in a manufacturing environment; training and certification will be provided.
• Prior forklift experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.
• Prior warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
• General computer skills needed; training will be provided for the systems used.
• Prior experience using a Kanban delivery system is a plus but not required.

• Hourly rate: $26.49.
