Day Shift, Employee, 24 hours per week (Monday & Wednesday 7:45am‑5:00pm; Friday 8:00am‑5:00pm). No nights, weekends, or holidays.

Duties

Patient rooming
In‑office procedure assistance
Injection and vaccine administration
General clinical administrative tasks using Epic

Qualifications

Graduates of a school of medical assisting (MA, CMA, RMA)
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a Wisconsin license
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent for licensing
No experience required
Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS HCP) – American Heart Association (AHA)

Responsibilities

Contribute to the assessment of patients and ensure their well‑being.

Administer medications and observe patients for adverse reactions.

Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services.

Educate patients/families about disease treatment plans, self‑care, holistic health needs, resources, and follow‑up care.

Document the provider’s encounter with patients, including diagnoses, symptoms, discharge/follow‑up instructions, and prescriptions, as indicated by the provider.

Transcribe patient orders (laboratory tests, radiology, medications) and consultations or discussions with the patient’s private physician or on‑call physician.

Complete patient charts by transcribing results of labs, x‑rays, or other evaluations.

Continuously check the progress of data availability for orders to ensure the provider can make treatment decisions regarding that patient.

Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Constant use of speech for oral communication.
Constant standing and walking.
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25lbs.
Frequent sitting, reaching, and keyboard use/data entry.
Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (≤20in) and far (≥20ft) and to identify and distinguish colors.
Frequent use of smell to detect/recognize odors.
Frequent use of hearing to receive oral communication, distinguish body sounds and/or hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50lbs.
Occasional lifting/moving of patients.
Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
Occasional driving.
Rare crawling and running.
